The “Amp” dual VCA is the fourth SM module I have built. As usual it was a very straightforward build. However to any beginners looking to build this one, make sure you check the iBOM when placing and soldering the resistors. They’re mounted upright/standing so it’s good to double check what holes each leg actually goes into. I’m very happy with the result and I’ll be back for more!

Just finished building and testing the MIX. Even thought I’m a seasoned DIY’er I’d still recommend the MIX to beginners. The module design only needs the most common type of components. As usual the component layout is very neat and straightforward which I highly appreciate. SM’s website also has very well laid out build guides with clear instructions. I’m very satisfied and will come back for more.

The Analog Waveshaper is a new take on an old design. SomethingModular's design has fine control of the waveshaping yielding everything from subtle to brash. They make through-hole and SMT versions so whether you're a builder or a player there's something for you.

Easy Build (SMD pre-soldered), quick calibration. Tracks V/Oct nicely in self-oscillation. Sounds awesome and the Crossmod is a genius move!

Great little kit, easy to build, no issues at all

From a distance this one could have gone either way. Love it. Solid little unit that does exactly what it should. Shipping was a drag but that wasn't seller's fault. Just how it goes sometimes. Kit was the kind I like. Easy. I don't need challenges I need osciillators. Will have these folks on my radar in the future.

Great high quality mixer, fairly easy build with really great instructions! Dimitri was sooo awesome and helpful when I had a problem with my build! Highly recommend!

Really versatile filter! I have at least a dozen different VCFs and this is one of my favorites.

This may be my favorite impression of a Moog filter. This one has something special, at least to my ears.
